The Apple Watch Series 6 is the most advanced smartwatch on the market. The fitness category ruler has satisfied users with buttery smooth results, silky haptics, and trouble-free setup, now in its sixth generation. The new features include blood oxygen monitoring, an always-on display, the new watchOS 7 and the new S6 SiP. The Apple Watch experience is almost mind blowingly smooth, which is one of the reasons it controls almost half of the industry.
Price
The Apple Watch Series 6 GPS- only model is available for $399 and the cellular model costs $100 more - $499. Also, if you want the 44mm, it’s available for $429. The power adapter is not included in the box, due to Apple’s new sustainability plan to cut down carbon footprint.
Design
The Series 6 has the same design as it’s predecessors, the same shape and the digital crown. The aluminum case comes in Silver, Space Gray, Brown, Gold, Blue, Black and the (Product) Red.The straps come in Solo loops, Braided Solo loops, Sport bands, Sport loops, Nike Sport Loops, Nike Sport Band and Leather.
It has a OLED Retina display, with goes upto 1000 nits of brightness. This always-on brightness is 2 times brighter compared to the previous model. The back has a sensor with red lights for the blood oxygen monitoring.
WatchOS 7
Many of the features on the watch are available as third-party applications. Apps will now display several watch faces on a single watch face, allowing for a little more versatility. The Apple Watch now has a built-in sleep tracker. Dance, Functional Strength Training, Core Training, and Cool Down exercise monitoring have been added to the Apple Watch with the watchOS 7 update. Other notable watchOS7 improvements include a hand-washing timer, mobility indicators, and watch face sharing. Cycle ride mapping, trail charts, Google Maps, and more advanced weather applications are also included in the upgrade.
Blood Oxygen Monitoring
The Apple Watch has a blood oxygen sensor that monitors how much oxygen is in the blood. A blood oxygen level of over 95% is typically considered normal, whereas anything below that may indicate a problem. According to the brand, it's a "wellness" feature, not a medical diagnostic tool. Apple claims that the feature has been thoroughly reviewed by a diverse range of consumers. Similar problems with the Apple Watch's blood oxygen readings have been recorded by other critics.

Apple is participating in research to see how the sensors can assist with early warning. When it comes to measuring blood oxygen, the Withings Scanwatch, which uses the same sensor, is consistently inaccurate. It's possible that measuring blood oxygen from your wrist is inherently difficult. However, it's unclear who Apple plans to use this feature on.
Battery Life
The Apple Watch 6 is rated for the same 18-hour battery life as the Apple Watch Series 5, Series 4 and Series 3. Although, regular use of GPS can reduce the battery life to around 16 hours, not bad for a smartwatch. It can be charged to full in 90 minutes, though it can take closer to 2 hours to fully charge.
Health
The Apple Watch 6 is perfect for fitness, health and exercise related tasks. The watch works hand-in-hand with Apple Fitness, which is available for $9.99 monthly and $79.99 yearly. It is also available for 3 months free if you buy a new Mac or iPad. You can also get Apple One’s Premium plan, which includes Music,Arcade, TV+, News, and iCloud costing $29.95.
